Chinese smartphone manufacturer Gionee looked to catch up with the
latest trend in the smartphone industry by showcasing eight FullView
smartphones across different product lines and price points, at its
winter launch event in Shenzhen.
The 8 smartphones showcased at the event are Gionee S11, Gionee S11S, Gionee S11 Lite, Gionee M7 Power, Gionee M7 Mini, Gionee M7 Plus, Gionee F6, Gionee F205, but in this particular post, I will concentrate on Gionee M7 Plus.
Gionee M7 Plus features dual rear cameras, consisting of a 16MP f/1.8 sensor and an 8MP sensor. Then in front, it has an 8MP for selfies and video calls. As previously mentioned, the phone packs a massive 5000mAh battery with support for 10W wireless fast charging (making it the first Gionee phone to come with wireless charging).
Other features are a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, Bluetooth 5.0, dual SIM slots, 4G LTE bands, and a micro USB port.
Talking about the security, Gionee confirmed that the M7 Plus has dual security chips like the M6 and M6 Plus. While one chip is for data encryption, the other is for secure payments and for fingerprint encryption.
